Mt. Qingcheng, Chengdu


Mt. Qingcheng, Chengdu is indeed one of the most picturesque places in this part of China. The serene, tranquil and pleasant surroundings are a characteristic of this particular place. Woods and forests along its slopes add to the beauty and grandeur of the Mt. Qingcheng, Chengdu. It is an ideal place for nature lovers.

Qingcheng Mountain in Chengdu is so named because of its spectacular natural beauty. The mountain's peak looks simply panoramic in the early twilight sun and many a times tourists have loved the dash of "supernatural lights" that have colored the whole mountain-scape. Mt. Qingcheng, Chengdu is really an epitome of awe inspiring beauty.

The story that does the rounds is of an evil spirit that was ward off by the good and locked in the "Brush Pen Groove". The "Three Island Stone" on the Mt. Qingcheng, Chengdu to (it is assumed) is the outcome of a legendary battle of the good and the bad kings. The unruffled and extremely quaint surroundings perhaps creates the impression that the Mt. Qingcheng, Chengdu still is the abode of supernatural spirits and site of magical activity.

The enigma associated with the Mt. Qingcheng, Chengdu partly adds to its charm. Among the existing structures that have added to the fame of the place are the Fujian Taoism Temple, Master Abode, Shangqing Taoism Temple,Yuanmin Taoism Temple and the Yuqing Taoism Temple. These temples exude a spiritual aura. The significant meditative calm that shrouds the locale is conspicuous and perhaps the tales associated with Mt. Qingcheng, Chengdu owe their origin to these factors.

Tourists who have come here have always spoken of the old world charm and the majesty of this natural marvel. Fragrant flowers, rare species of flora and shrubs fringe the road that leads to the temples. The slender rays of the sun that peep through the thick forest growth add to the mystic appeal of the Mt. Qingcheng, Chengdu.
