Jinshitan
Scenic Area, Dalian also popularly known as the
Golden Pebble Beach National Resort, is located in the
Liaodong Peninsula and stands facing the Huanghai River.
Jinshitan Scenic Area, Dalian is situated about 50 kilometers
away from the northeast of Dalian City. This famous
sightseeing area in Dalian comprises of two peninsulas
with a spacious beach in-between and a land area of
62 square kilometer and a water surface of 58 square
kilometers.
Jinshitan Scenic Area, Dalian has been bestowed with
an oceanic monsoon
climate, with mild temperature and enjoys four different
seasons. The environment of this place is among the
best throughout the country. Some of the distinct factors
that make Jinshitan Scenic Area, Dalian so special are
fresh air, clean sea water and spacious beach that extended
four kilometers along the coast line. The beauty of
this unique place attracts tourists - domestic and foreigners,
mostly the swimmers all the year round. Jinshitan Scenic
Area, Dalian is also the location of the marine sports
centre where various trainings are carried out.
The most amazing view in Jinshitan Scenic Area, Dalian
is the eastern peninsula, where geological wonders that
formed around 600,000 years ago extended along the 8-kilometers-long
coast line. This vast and impressive structure came
into shape as early as the Sinian and Cambrian Periods.
Once you come here you can see hundreds of bizarre rocks
in various shapes and postures. These rocks resemble
various shapes like that of monkeys watching the sea,
camels, turtles, dinosaurs, tigers, etc. It's due to
this reason that Jinshitan Scenic Area, Dalian is also
sometimes called a solidified animal world.
Jinshitan Scenic Area, Dalian also houses wonderful
recreational infrastructures. There is a golf course
that covers large greens of 17,500 square kilometers
with 36 fairways and taking good advantage of the seashore.
There is a hunting ground in the western peninsula,
equipped with modern facilities and covering an area
of 2,000,000 square kilometers. Also do not forget to
visit the flower exhibition hall where you can find
flowers from all over the world that blossom all the
year round.
Jinshitan Scenic Area, Dalian aims to become an all-round
resort that combines tourism with entertainment. Many
projects such as Theme Parks, Hi-tech Agriculture Sightseeing
and Demonstration Park and Golden Pebble Valley Country,
etc are still under construction. Jinshitan Scenic Area,
Dalian was accepted as the National Resort by the State
Council in 1992 and given the grading of a 4As Tourist
Attraction in 2000. It was honored with the award
of the International Quality System Certification ISO9001
and ISO14001 International Environmental System Certification
in 2002.
