welcomes all cordially because it has a combination
of natural beauty and great man made gardens. It has
been stated that Fu yang, Hangzhou is one of the "100
cities of superior overall strength" in China.
It has earned the recognition as one of the most majestic
city in Hangzhou.
As far as the geography of the place is concerned,
Fu yang in Hangzhou is the center of the triangle formed
by Shanghai, Hangzhou and Ningbo. This place is bestowed
with nature's abundance. The greenery all around and
the lovely flora characteristic of this place is one
of the prime attractions of Fu yang, Hangzhou. The climate
in this region is also inexplicably good and pleasant.
The whole city of Hangzhou's Fu yang, spreads over
1830 sqaure kms. This city has a population of roughly
600,000 people. Nine townships and sixteen towns dot
the whole area. It is not over populated and therefore
there is no run for space. You can enjoy the natural

and bordered by mountains and rivers. Fuchun River traverses
the whole length and breadth of the city. Xin'an River
is the other river. Huang Mountain in Fu yang, Hangzhou
is also spectacular.
The city also has an ancient origin like many of the
other Chinese destinations. Originally known as Fuchun
this city was ruled by the Qin Dynasty (221BC-206BC).
Today Fu yang, Hangzhou is home to the relics of the
extinct kingdom. Many of the natural sites were modified
by the Qins and till date they stand erect and epitomize
the the rich cuture of the place. Some of these are
the Stork Mountain, the Eight Scenic Spots of Fuchun,
and the Angling Terreace of Yan Zilling. The latter
was once the residence of Huang Gongwang, the famed
artist.
In his work the "Life in the Hills of Fuchun",
he brought alive the essence of the place. Though the
city retains its splendor transportation has been made
easy. Communication too has improved greatly. Fu yang,
Hangzhou, now harbors good hotels and eateries too that
benefit the tourists who come here.
