Victoria Peak (Tai Ping Shan) in Hong Kong

There are good forms of public transportation from the main city to the peak making it a regular attraction for anyone visiting Hong Kong. Sir John Pope- Hennessy started the first tram route in Victoria Peak (Tai Ping Shan) in Hong Kong around 1881.

The Victoria Peak is a landmark of the country. The eye-catching peak has a height of 552 meters above sea level. The breathtaking natural surroundings and the pleasant climate of the place is surely the reason for its popularity. Visitors can explore the peak's natural beauty by walking. One can see the bamboo and fern forests. The peak is the ideal place for bird watching.
